Fanart bassed on my new favorite Epic Fantasy book series, A Song of Ice and Fire!
Here's my favorite character of the Book, Tyrion Lanister, acting as Hand of the King! Accompanied by his Clansmen, his personal bodyguard, and his squire.
Left to right:
-Crawn son of Calor, of the Moon Brothers
-Chella daughter of Cheyk, of the Black Ears. Flat as a boy and not particularly atractive, but the 42 ears of her fallen foes around her neck speak of her fighting skill for her.
-Timmet son of Timmet, of the Burned Men. The most feared man of the most feared clan of the mountain clans. Became a Red Hand (some sort of comander, it's never made clear what that means) at a young age and burned his eye to prove his worth to the rest of his clan.
-Bronn. Tyrion's personal bodyguard. Whose black sense of humour I just love.
-Tyrion Lannister, Hand of the King. I could write entire parapgraphs of why I love this character. This halfman was the hero King's Landing deserved!
-Podrick Payne. Tyrion's shy squire, who was only 12 when first introduced in the book. I didn't think much of him until he saved Tyrion's life during Stanis' attack.
-Shagga son of Dolf, of the Stone Crows. Probably my favorite of Tyrion's clansmen just because of how over the top violent he could get. "Casterly Rock with Hair" as Tyrion called him. And who wanted not one, nor two, but THREE axes to go to battle against the Northernmen!
Note that these characters are just stylised versions of how I pictured them in the book, and not necessairly intended to look like they do in the fantastic tv series
Next I'm thinking of doing a Stark Family Portrait (before all the horrible things that happen to them, that is). Also, excuse the somewhat crappy background. I just did it quickly as I had no idea how to fill the rest of the drawing
